A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Cape Fear Community College
Dear Sea Devil Community,

We celebrated the commencement ceremonies for our Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 graduates on Friday, May 12. Witnessing our graduates embark on the next phase of their academic and career journeys fills me with great pride. I am glad Cape Fear Community College plays such an important role in the lives of so many students in our community.

As we reflect on the commencement ceremonies, we are delighted to share inspiring stories which exemplify the transformative power of education and highlight the collaborative efforts between CFCC's faculty and students. I extend my best wishes to all our graduates and encourage them to stay connected and share their accomplishments with us.

Our summer classes began May 22 and offer the opportunity for students to get a jump start on their fall semester. Our 8-week session begins on Tuesday, June 6, while the 5-week session begins on June 28. You can find a list of available summer classes here

We are also actively enrolling students for the Fall 2023 term, and our initial enrollment numbers are strong. I commend the remarkable dedication and hard work of CFCC's faculty and staff. I am so proud of our collective achievements and the unwavering commitment displayed by our entire team to support our region's learners.

For those seeking short-term training options, our Economic and Workforce Development summer course catalog offers a wide range of classes to suit varied interests and goals. Whether students seek to expand their professional skill set or enjoy a personal enrichment class, there is something for everyone to explore.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Cape Fear Community College's success depends on our community's incredible support. Together, we are creating a lasting impact in the Cape Fear region.

Sincerely,
Jim Morton, CFCC President
