The CFCE Program Staff would like to thank Gayle, one of our parents for all the donations and drives that she has done for us over the last several years. Gayle has helped us through COVID with donations of school supplies and gift cards and continually helps us with diapers, clothing, baby supplies and food. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

We would also like to thank the Middleboro Public Library for doing a diaper drive for us. We appreciate all the support you give us!

Things to do at home with your kids

Art in the Park

Powers Farm Randolph

July 9th, 16th and 23th

1:30-2:30pm

Join Ms. Gina and Ms. Marsha at Powers Farm in Randolph for Art in the Park, a three week art series.

Each week we will learn about a different artist who uses art to send a message. We will create pieces in the style of the featured artist. This program is suitable for children ages 4 and up. Register today to reserve your spot! Register one time for all three weeks.

Music and Movement

Join Ms. Marsha and celebrate summer with music and movement. We will have so much fun singing and dancing together. We will use shakers, rhythm sticks, scarves/ribbons and instruments as we celebrate the summer together!

East Bridgewater Public Library

Join Ms. Leslie at the East Bridgewater Public Library at 10:30 for free play, and a fun-filled circle time. We will sing, listen to a story, shake bells, blow bubbles and so much more! Ages: 12-24 months ONLY THIS CLASS is 3 sessions: 7/15, 7/22, 7/29

Preschool Play and Learn

July 25, August 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd

Join Michelle H. For a 5-week Summer Preschool Play and Learn series. Each week will feature early learning activities, a story, and a craft based on a different Summertime Theme! This program will meet on Thursdays from 10:30-11:30

Ms. Marsha's Story and Craft - Drum Dream Girl

2:00-3:00

July 10th

Canton Public Library

Join Ms. Marsha at the Canton Public Library for a fun filled hour of stories and crafts. We will read the book Drum Dream Girl and make our won drum. We will use our drum and play along to a variety of drum based songs, This program is suitable for children ages 3 and up.

At Home Activity

Think Draw and Write

Think, Draw and Write is an at-home activity for families to do together. Just express your interest by emailing Gina McGarrigle and she will send you the themes! Each month they are given a different concept to think about and then write about along with an illustration! 

Creative, imaginative writing fun for school aged children and siblings! Families mail/email a copy of the picture/writing to Gina along with your name, parents name and address so I can send you some stickers in the mail.

Diapers and Wipes available for those who need it.

CFCE has a diaper closet!

As a special service to our families we offer free diapers to those in need. As with everything right now the cost of diapers has skyrocketed and we would like to help those parents who need it. Please contact Gina McGarrigle at gmcgarrigle@selfhelpinc.org. Diapers and wipes can be picked up at programs you attend or at the Brockton office at 45 Pearl St Brockton. If you are in need of diapers please contact Gina at the above email.

WE ARE CURRENTLY HOLDING SPOTS ON OUR WAITLIST FOR NEW FAMILIES!

The Self Help Inc Parent Child Plus program serves families from: *Randolph, Holbrook and Rockland

What is ParentChild+?

• It provides your child with a free high- quality book or educational toy each week -at least 46 new books and toys!
• A trained community-based Early Learning Specialist will visit your home twice a week for 30 minutes to help you get your child ready for school.
• You will learn creative ways to read and play with your child.
• It helps you prepare your child to be successful in school.
• This program is for families with a child ages 16 months-3 1/2 years old. Enrollment is a 2 program year commitment.
