The Water Cycle - Cloud in a Jar
Supply List for Monday, July 20th:
Glass Jar (wide mouth is best), foil (large enough to fit over the opening of the jar with 1" around the edges), ice cubes, warm water, some type of aerosol spray (hair spray, scent sprays, etc.)

I will share a simple art project you can do together at home PLUS one of our favorite activities...FEATHERBALL !!! So make sure your child brings a scarf, facecloth, hankie or a dish towel to this videotaped session each time so they can participate!!! Would love to have you join me and enjoy this time!!!

Wednesday, July 22 - Hungry Plants
This week we'll be learning about plants that eat insects. Supply List for July 22 class:
- paper plate
- markers - green and red for sure and any others you'd like to use.
- googlie eyes, fuzz balls, or anything else you can use for eyes
- paper to use for antenna
- glue

VIRTUAL EVENT:
"Unicorn "YOGA- Exercise and Relaxation with Miss Carol
|
"UNICORN" Yoga- Exercise & Relaxation: This program will introduce families of young children to yoga! This will include yoga poses and movements, breathing exercises, story time, along with a suggested art experience for home. This program is based on the National Library Summer Theme of FANTASY! A magical unicorn bubble machine will add an element of joy at the end of the program. If families send Carol their names and addresses for participating, she will send them unicorn stickers in the mail!!!

Join Ms. Marsha for a ZOOM Activity. We will sing a few songs and have a short story. This activity is designed for toddlers. It will last less than 30 minutes.
ZOOM Tips: Be patient it may take a while to get into the activity. Everyone will be on mute during the story.

Join Ms. Marsha and Ms. Gina as we take a journey back in history and imagine we were on the bus when Rosa Parks took her stand. In this 2 part creative writing program for young children grades 1-4 we will discuss the story of Rosa Parks and think about what it might have felt like to have been there.

Magician's Hat Story time: A fantasy themed summer story time for children and their families. This program is based on the book “The Magician’s Hat” by Malcolm Mitchell. After reading the story, children will be asked to participate in art related to the story including drawing a picture of what they want to be when they grow up. They can mail/email that picture in and Carol will send them coloring pages related to what they want to be along with some "super star" stickers!!(make sure to include your name and address). During this magical time, there will also be music and movement, and magic tricks that will stimulate their imagination!

Join Ms.Marsha for a Friday Story and Craft Group. This preschool group meets each Friday to listen to stories, sing songs, and complete simple crafts based on a theme. Families receive an email each Wednesday with the Zoom link and a list of materials for crafts. All crafts are made with materials most families have at home.
