Thank You from our Families
On behalf of our children and families, we extend a huge thank you for making their holiday season a joyous one. Many thanks to the more than 30 individual and corporate donors who participated in the Holiday Gift Drive, providing over $35,000 worth of items and gift cards for the families we serve.

A few thankful quotes and anecdotes from our families:

"Phil and I and of course Ismail, want to thank you and CFCS for the generous gift of cute clothing for Ismail." - client in our Adoption program

"Oh, thank you!  He needs some new sweatpants, and Target has ones that fit him really well.  Thank you so much!" - client in our Developmental Disabilities program

"Mom was extremely excited she received the gifts with such gratitude and thanked me about a million times. She has no job, she couldn't afford a Christmas tree for her children let alone gifts for all three. Mom was inspired to buy some Christmas lights from the target gift card and create her own tree and put the presents under her DIY tree and the children were very excited to come home to that. - social worker in our Family Support & Stabilization program.
CFCS Celebrates 145 Years of Service!
2018 marks CFCS' 145th anniversary! What started out as a small orphanage called The Avon House, housing 6-8 children, has flourished into our agency today. We now provide services to more than 1,500 individuals in over 100 Massachusetts communities. We couldn't do this without the support of donors like YOU! Watch the video below to see how CFCS got its start:

Learn about our Permanency Priority
The CFCS mission is to provide high quality support and advocacy for children, adults and families to develop and nurture safe, permanent relationships and maximize individual growth.  In 2017, in line with our mission, and in partnership with the Department of Children & Families, CFCS set out to try new ways to expedite permanency for every child.  The CFCS Permanency Priority enhances all agency programming through re-envisioning our focus on permanency to achieve even more positive outcomes for each youth that we serve.
