We are thankful to be a part of such a wonderful community. In November we had a great turnout for our annual Black Friday Blood Drive and once again this year we had an amazing response to our Toys for Tots collection. We truly appreciate the support for these efforts and for the kindness we are shown all year long by the communities we serve.

In addition to our normal training activities this quarter, our officers and tenured members took an active role in training our new firefighters. For their first year on the job, newly hired (or probationary) firefighters are put through a comprehensive training program after which they must successfully complete both a written exam and skills check-off in order to be removed from probationary status.
Great progress is being made on the construction of our new Station 23. We are projected to move in this coming April.
Congratulations to the following members who celebrated service anniversaries during the 4th quarter.
30 Years: BC Doug Gibson, Lieut. Mark Schmeltz, A/O Brian O'Leary
15 Years: A/O Jason Waller and FF Dennis Costlow
