Demolition Permit Reimbursement Program

CFD2 is looking for residential properties that are to be demolished to use for training purposes. We will reimburse owners the cost of the demolition permit under qualifying circumstances.
TRUCK 21
Our new Truck 21 is now in service at Station 21, 6400 Martway in Mission.
This new aerial platform replaced an aged-out Sutphen. We purposefully designed the truck to complement our Truck 23, which is a straight ladder (no platform) and is located on the other end of the District at Station 23. The redevelopment of the area Truck 21 will serve, including new multi-story retirement communities, new residential over retail and other growth makes this a phenomenal tool for our firefighters to protect those we serve!

Recently Promoted

Congratulations to Jon Gossman who was recently promoted to Lieutenant! Jon has been a Firefighter with CFD2 for over 14 years.
Welcome to our newest member!

We are excited to welcome firefighter Matt Gromer to CFD2! Matt started with us in July. He has several years of firefighting/EMT experience and is a great addition to our team.
COVID-19 UPDATE
The CFD2 Stations are currently closed to the public. Administrative office staff are alternating working on site and remotely and are available via phone and email during regular office hours. Public education activities continue to be suspended at this time with plans to resume when deemed safe and in accordance with Johnson County’s phased reopening plan.
