SEASON'S GREETINGS!
Best Wishes for a Wonderful Holiday and a Happy New Year!
We’re on a mission to keep our farmworkers safe during these challenging times and help protect the hands that provide food for our tables. We are proud to serve and support California farmworkers by providing programs and services to better their quality of life.

You are our top priority!
Message from our Executive Director
Hernan Hernandez
We work every day to design and implement programs, models, and tools that help close the health gap and thus benefit the populations that need it the most!
We have five areas in which we model our services:
In the past twelve months, the California Farmworker Foundation has expanded its presence throughout California by continuing to develop innovative programs and services that directly impact Farmworkers' lives. Our recipe for solving some of the most pressing issues affecting Farmworkers continues to start with listening to their needs and creating meaningful partnerships to help solve the challenges that Farmworkers face daily. For example, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact Farm-working communities, CFF has remained at the forefront of delivering much-needed services to Farmworkers and their families.
Since January 1, 2021, CFF has reached more than 200,000 Farmworkers throughout California. More than 200,000 Farmworkers have received access to COVID-19 Vaccines, Testing, Education, Food Distributions, Rent Relief, Healthcare, and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Our work continues to be highlighted by the community, elected officials, government entities, non-profits, and the press. More importantly, our work continues to be supported by Farmworkers. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect Farmworkers, I would like to remind you of the importance of donating to CFF. Today, more than ever, your donation can impact the lives of Farmworkers and their families. Any contribution to CFF is highly appreciated and will go a long way in bringing much-needed resources to farm-working communities.

LEADING THE WAY IN THE FOLLOWING SIX SECTORS!
COVID-19 VACCINATION
CFF partners with county health departments and community health centers to vaccinate Farmworkers, agricultural workers and farm-working communities.
COVID-19
TESTING
Infection rates in rural Farmworker communities continue to increase, and testing is needed to halt the current community
spread. Over the last year, we have seen an increase in COVID-19 infection rates throughout California.
PPE
DISTRIBUTION
Farmworker’s health is our #1 priority! We make sure Farmworkers have access to much-needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during this pandemic and at the worksite.
EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
Today, more than ever, Farmworkers need educational opportunities to improve their quality of life. Direct information is needed to guide Farmworkers through the educational system in their communities. We invest in education initiatives that will provide Farmworkers with the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
FOOD
DISTRIBUTION
Food insecurity continues to be on the rise amongst farm-working communities.
CFF has increased our food distributions throughout California to combat food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our food distributions provide easy food access to farmworkers at their place of work.
COVID-19 RENT RELIEF
Over 95% of all aid distributed via our Farmworker Relief Fund has been for rent relief, as Farmworkers are one step away from being homeless during this pandemic. Data has shown that Farmworkers view rent relief as their most pressing need during this pandemic.

Holiday Greetings!
Message from our Chairman
LUIS KATSURAYAMA
"As we near the holidays and reflect on this past year, I would like to express on behalf of the board how thankful we all are to be able to serve the community that gives us so much. For the support given to us so we can help improve the lives of so many farm working families. For trusting CFF to make a difference during the pandemic.
Looking back at a year where we had to navigate through challenges, uncertainty, and even fear, has clearly shown us the strength that we hold when we come together for our community and for those who serve the essential positions in the workforce, so we can all continue to live our lives as we do today, with food on our tables. It is for this same reason that the CFF board and the entire staff are gratefully committed to the foundation's mission; To help improve the lives of those who help us feed our families. Thank you and happy holidays!"

2021 Nueva Generacion Scholarship Recipients
CFF AWARDED OVER $40,000
IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO CHILDREN OF FARMWORKERS
At CFF, we believe education is the gateway to a free, healthy, fair, and prosperous society. We are proud to announce that we awarded more than $40,000 in scholarships to 38 deserving students that reside in California. Our scholarship recipients are all children of farmworkers that just like many of us, are seeking to pursue a better quality of life and future.
On November 12, CFF staff members, community partners, and scholarship recipients along with their families gathered for a virtual awards ceremony that took place via Zoom. During the ceremony, all 38 recipients were recognized, speeches were delivered by Scholarship Committee members to include: Hernan Hernandez, Alejandra Rodriguez, and Nayeli Heredia. We heard moving speeches of gratitude from the top five scholarship recipients that did not leave a dry eye on the Zoom call.
In order for applicants to be eligible to apply, they were required to be enrolled in a college or university and obtain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Applicants were also required to submit an essay, resume, and official school transcript. On behalf of CFF, we want to congratulate all scholarship recipients for their hard work, efforts, and dedication to earning a higher education. After all, a good education is a foundation for a better future! We are proud of each, and every one of you!

"Receiving a scholarship from CFF reminds of the effort my parents put to push my dreams into becoming something real. The scholarship is an accomplishment and a blessing that brings hope. It reminded me of why I am here, por ellos y para ellos. For them, and because of them."
