CFI, Braise Restaurant invites you to Farm 2 Table fundraiser

You're invited! Four Courses. Farm 2 Table. One Great Event.

Centers for Independence's successful Farm 2 Table program, an innovating urban farming concept, is beginning to wind down the second season of providing exceptional learning opportunities and work skills training for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program’s two hoop houses and outdoor garden field have been supplying food to local restaurants, farmer’s markets, food pantries, and more.

We invite you to join us Wednesday Sept. 25 at Braise Restaurant for a 4-course Farm 2 Table dinner in celebration of this successful growing and program season.

When: 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25

Limited seating is available. Reservations must be received by Sept. 22!

A portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to Centers for Independence programming.

Shepherd Express: Farm 2 Table Program Yields Fresh Produce, Friendship and Life Skills

"This innovative farming concept, known as the Farm 2 Table program, is in its second season and provides learning opportunities and work skills training for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Fresh, healthy produce is grown in two hoop houses and the outdoor garden field for local restaurants and sold at a monthly farmers market at the Green Corridor. Some of the produce is donated to local food pantries."
