TRAUMA INFORMED CARE
Meet our trainers!
CFI's trauma-informed care approach to care and treatment aligns with our mission of partnering with people of all abilities to advance their total health, our vision of healthy and hopeful communities, and our values of understanding people, leading success and working together.
It also complements our commitment to diversity and strategic quality initiative of addressing social determinants of health to improve health and reduce longstanding disparities in health and health care.
Our trauma-informed care trainers make all this possible. They are instrumental in educating all of our employees in trauma care and helping people heal. Learn why they have taken on this role in the short videos below:

MEET NOAH!
Training program readies him for work
A cognitive disability and fear of talking to strangers made it difficult for Noah to join the world of work.
But he did.
With the help of CFI’s Forward Academy, Noah gained the customer service skills needed to work at Grebe’s Bakery, where he is described as a “natural leader” who has taken on a “leadership role.”
