COMMUNITY SERVICES RECOVERY FUND!

The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area is pleased to announce $477,000 in funding to support 7 projects in the Kingston area through the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund, a collaboration between the Canadian Red Cross, Community Foundations of Canada, and United Way Centraide Canada. The Community Services Recovery Fund is a one-time investment of $400 million to help community service organizations (charities, non-profits, Indigenous governing bodies) adapt, modernize, and be better equipped to improve the efficacy, accessibility, and sustainability of the community services that they provide through the pandemic recovery and beyond. Paper Tigers Screening & Panel Discussion!

Join us on Friday, September 22 from 4 pm - 6 pm at The Screening Room to watch Paper Tigers, a documentary providing insights into the lives of adolescents facing challenges, highlighting the profound effects of trauma-enforced care within their educational setting. A live Panel Discussion will follow the screening.


This event is part of the KFL&A Resiliency Symposium: Navigating Adversity Through the Power of Community.
