CFM Invites Eligible Nonprofits and Food Pantries to Apply

The Community Foundations COVID-19 Grant Program was established by the Mississippi Legislature to provides grant up to $12,000 to reimburse eligible nonprofit entities and food pantries for pandemic-related expenses incurred from March 1 - December 30, 2020. Applicants must register by December 15, 2020.

How do nonprofits receive funds?

Donations to a nonprofit are processed through credit card processor Network for Good.

Can I set up a fundraiser for a nonprofit partner of CFM?

Yes, all of our nonprofit partners have established endowed or special purpose funds here, and donations may be made to any of them. Facebook sends all donations to CFM's Network for Good account; however, due to Facebook's privacy rules, donor information is not shared with Network for Good or with CFM.

How can I be sure that gifts to my fundraiser are credited to the correct nonprofit fund at CFM?

Please share your Facebook fundraising page with us or let us know your plans by emailing [email protected]. We will take care that the funds you raise are deposited into the correct account.
