CFM is pleased to announce that the MS CARES Grants Program has been extended through December 31, 2021.

Launched in 2020 with federal CARES funds and administered by the state's seven community foundations, the program provides reimbursement grants for COVID-related expenses incurred by eligible nonprofits and food pantries.

NONPROFITS may apply for up to $12,000, including all previous CARES grants received, for expenses incurred between March 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021.

FOOD PANTRIES may apply for any amount to reimburse eligible expenses incurred between March 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021.

I received CARES grant funding in the first round. Can we apply again?
  • Yes. Please do not submit expenses that have already been reimbursed. Nonprofits may only apply for up to $12,000 total from both rounds, but food pantries may apply for any amount.
