Chapter of the Year!
Valley of the Sun is the Best!

Community Service Committee with some of the Back to School drive donations.
At this year's National Conference in Chicago, the Valley of the Sun Chapter received the award for Chapter of the Year!  Following our June lunch, where our members surpassed all expectations, donating over $600 in cash and gift cards, in addition to a car load of backpacks, school supplies and uniforms to UMom's Back to School drive, it's really no surprise that we truly are the Best Under the Sun!

Amazing members, combined with long- term chapter leaders like this year's Joe Quigley Memorial Award Winner, Dave James, and Debra Hahn Memorial Award Winner, Marj Weber, are what make the Valley of the Sun Chapter a truly remarkable group to be a part of.

With all of the VoS accomplishments it's really no surprise that our chapter won this "Triple Crown" of CFMA awards this year!

Community Service
Volunteer for Back to School Night!

After the incredible outpouring of support and generosity with the Back to School Drive donations in June, we can hardly wait to see all of the kids' smiling faces when they get their supplies!  Tuesday, July 14th, from 5 - 7 pm is the Back to School Night event at UMom.  Our chapter will be teaming up with a group from McCarthy to run a game booth to keep the kids entertained!

E-mail Lisa Sullivan or Michelle Walker to sign up or for more information!  Also, mark your calendars for the upcoming community service events:  UMom Walk for Homeless Families on Saturday, September 26th, and St. Mary's Food Bank on Friday, November 6th.
