Dear CFOV Partners:

A new work week has arrived! There's no denying we are in the midst of challenging times and adjustments are being made to the way we live and engage.

As we all work to navigate this new environment, our team wanted to make you aware of what's happening at CFOV, provide a list of resources and share a critical advocacy opportunity.

-The CFOV team is working remotely. While this means our physical office is closed, please know we are available! Email is the best way to reach us and messages left by phone will be returned as soon as possible. Team members will be in the office on a limited, but regular basis, to process mail and necessary items. While certain aspects of our work may be delayed, it is our intention to continue serving our donors, grantees and partners during this time.

-CFOV has established an Emergency Impact Fund to provide operating grants to Ohio Valley nonprofits affected by the pandemic. You can make a gift to the fund by visiting here or by mailing a check to CFOV (1226 Chapline Street Wheeling, WV 26003). Be sure to put Emergency Impact Fund in the memo line.

-Nonprofits in the CFOV service area will soon be able to apply for support from the Emergency Impact Fund. Details will be shared on our website, Facebook and through our e-newsletter.

- Making connections is a huge part of what we do, and we feel strongly about making connections to opportunities that may offer support during this time of need. A resource list has been posted on our website and will be updated as we learn together.

-State and federal governments are working to create legislation designed to counter the growing economic impact of COVID-19. Nonprofit inclusion in this bill is critical as these organizations are integral to maintaining strong communities. You can learn more about these efforts and how you can take part, by visiting here . Ready to reach out to your legislators?

Community is key and we're in this together, Ohio Valley!
