PARENTS EMPOWRERING PARENTS
Join us for an empowering and informative morning of free workshops led by fellow parents! Sessions will include making homemade pinatas, healthy living, soap making, and more. If your student is in elementary school, check out the newest language workshop from CCSD's English Language Learner division! This engaging workshop will feature interactive activities, practical tips, and fun strategies to foster reading skills, language acquisition, and healthy habits in an enjoyable, supportive environment.

KICK YOUR MONTH OFF WITH READING!
Start March off right with a week of fun reading challenges! Take and post a picture of yourself completing the challenge with the hashtag #ReadWithMeNV, and you'll be entered into the daily drawing for prizes with a grand prize to be drawn on Monday, March 9th. This is a great opportunity to make reading a part of your family!

ARTS AND CRAFTS!
Come to the Central Family Support Center on Wednesday, March 11th at 10:45 a.m. for a free arts and crafts session! We'll be making a gorgeous mosaic that you can take home. Space is limited to the first 30 participants, so be sure to arrive early!

TIME FOR PRE-K!
Will your student be 3 years old by August 1st? If they are, it's time for Pre-K! Parents are responsible for Pre-K transportation, and children must not be eligible for kindergarten in order to be considered. If you need help registering, come down to the Central Family Support Center!

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION
It's time to register for summer school! Original credit courses are available for high schoolers who want to get ahead, and credit retrieval is available for middle and high schoolers. Pre-registration begins March 2nd, so have your student talk to their counselor today!

DISABILITY RESOURCES--STAR FAIR!
If your middle or high schooler has a disability, the STAR resources fair is for you! There will be more information about adaptive recreation, post-secondary opportunities, transition programs, transportation, and more. Save the date!

WELFARE SUPPORT SERVICES
Are you interested in SNAP, EBT, TANF, WIC, Medicaid, or energy bill assistance? Come to the Central Family Support Center on Thursdays or Fridays to meet with a rep from the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services! They can help you navigate the application process and help you apply. No appointment is necessary--just stop in!

FREE ROUTINE VACCINES FOR KIDS!
CCSD requires that all students be up-to-date on their vaccines. Grab your child's shot records and head down to the FSC on March 11th or 18th. A parent or guardian must be present, and while insurance will be billed if you have it, there is no cost for vaccines. See you there!

HEALTH FAIRS
Do you need a checkup? Come to one of the many health fairs being held across the Valley where you can get a checkup, eye test, insurance assistance, women's health services, dental services, HIV testing, and more--all for FREE to people of any nationality!

NEVADA CHILDREN'S HEALTH PROJECT
The Nevada Children's Health Project serves at-risk youth, including those who are facing homelessness or poverty up to 21 years old. If your student needs examinations, STI testing or treatment, sick visits or acute care, immunizations, lab tests, mental health resources, pregnancy help, or other services, please stop by any one of the Vegas Valley clinics to be seen same-day!

UNLV PEDIATRIC CLINIC
If your child needs healthcare, check out the UNLV Health Clinic located in the same building as the Central Family Support Center! Whether you need a physical, acute care, a prescription, mental health treatment, immunizations, referrals, and more, the Pediatric Family Support Center Clinic is here. Please bring your insurance information if you have it. Walk-ins are NOT available, so please call 702-586-9943 to make an appointment.

POP-UP MARKET!
Come on down to the Central Family Support Center for free food on Tuesday, March 24th! The JFSA Pop-up Market will be in the parking lot from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. or while supplies last. There are no income or residency requirements; all are welcome to participate.

Applying for college can seem like an overwhelming experience, but it doesn't have to be. Join the CCSD Fulfillment Team as they guide you through the process addressing everything from how to apply, what to include, and what colleges are looking for. They will even take your questions!

PROM ATTIRE GIVEAWAY!
Many students look forward to prom, but the dress, suit, accessories, makeup, and grooming can be cost prohibitive. Saturday, March 14th, The Girls Group is hosting a prom attire giveaway! The event is first-come, first-served to juniors and seniors with student ID. Not only will you get a dress or suit and accessories, but there will also be barbers, hair stylists, makeup artists, and stylists. Don't miss it!!
