Join the Clark County School District (CCSD) for a FREE, family-focused morning of Pre-Kindergarten—Grade 12 learning experiences! Gain practical strategies to support your child’s academic success, connect with helpful resources, and build confidence navigating the school year.

English Classes for Adults


The Family Support Centers offer FREE English classes to all adults who wish to improve their language skills. Develop reading, writing, and speaking skills while building meaningful connections with fellow learners.

MANAGING STUDENT ANXIETY


Many students experience anxiety, whether it's brought on by social situations, a big test, or being separated from their family all day. Join us at the Central Family Support Center for an informative and interactive workshop that can help you and your child bond and reduce stress together!

Family Connect Title I


Nevada Homeless Alliance’s On-Site Family Connect events bring free community resources and support directly to families at the Central Family Support Center. Families can receive assistance with identification documents, housing, public benefits, employment, health services, legal aid, food resources, youth and family support, and more—all in one convenient location.

Southern Nevada College Fairs 2026


The Southern Nevada College Fairs give students and families an opportunity to explore college options and connect with representatives from a variety of institutions. Multiple free fairs will be held throughout the Las Vegas Valley in September and October, making it easy for families to attend a location and date that works for them.


MIndfulness Sessions


You are invited to participate in free mindfulness sessions designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. Sessions are open to the community and offer a welcoming opportunity to learn simple mindfulness practices for everyday use.

Open Computer Lab


Community Computer Time gives participants dedicated time to build their computer and English language skills in a supportive environment. Participants can practice typing and use programs such as Rosetta Stone and Off2Class to strengthen their English skills while becoming more comfortable using technology.

From developmental milestone screenings to getting your child ready to enter pre-K, CCSD is here to help you get your student started on the right foot. Check out our resources for pre-K students!

HEALTH-RELATED RESOURCES

FREE ROUTINE VACCINES

FOR KIDS!


CCSD requires that all students be up to date on their vaccines. Grab your child's shot records and head down to the Central FSC on September 2 and 16. A parent or guardian must be present, and while insurance will be billed if you have it, there is no cost for vaccines. See you there!


If your child needs medical care this summer, check out one of the many free or low-cost clinics around the Valley. Clinics offer a number of services including vaccinations, check ups, prescription refills, sick visits, mental health services and screenings, and more. FOOD RESOURCES

THE JFSA POP-UP IS COMING!


The JFSA pop-up is back at the Central Family Support Center! There are no income or residency requirements, so come down to the CFSC multipurpose room to get some free food!

FOOD DISTRIBUTION @ THE CENTER


Conveniently located near Maryland Parkway and Charleston, The Center offers free food distribution on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. They also have additional community services such as a pharmacy, health clinic, senior center, youth and family services, and recovery meetings. Check them out!

FOOD DISTRIBUTION @ NV PARTNERS


Three Square brings its food distribution to Nevada Partners in North Las Vegas on the second Thursday of every month! Don't forget to bring your wagon, cart, or extra bags to carry all of your items.

Come check out the CCSD Family Career Connections event coming soon to a school near you! Gain insights into your resume with customized guidance to make it application-ready. CCSD staff will be there to provide hands-on support in navigating the application process and help you take a deep dive into the career offerings at CCSD so that you can find the perfect fit. We will even have a photographer on hand to take your professional headshot — the perfect finishing touch for your resume and LinkedIn page.
