The Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI) has released the seminar schedule for the 31st Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner , to be held April 24-25, 2019 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. The theme for the annual tribute to the nation’s fire and emergency services is “ Exchanging Knowledge to Advance Our Mission.” Building upon the theme for the event, the 2019 educational program is the largest and most comprehensive CFSI has offered to date, providing opportunities for attendees to learn about current national fire service issues from leading experts. The symposium will feature 18 individual classes, all of which are eligible for continuing education units (CEUs) through Columbia Southern University at no additional cost.

“CFSI has had the proud honor of hosting the National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner for over three decades,” said Bill Webb, CFSI’s Executive Director. “The educational program we have developed is an important component of the event, as many prominent leaders in public safety will provide their insight and knowledge on important public safety issues to current and future leaders. We are thankful Columbia Southern University has once again offered to provide CEUs for the program. For the past five years, our partnership with Columbia Southern University has greatly enhanced the seminar program and provided excellent value to the attendees.”
