THE PRESIDENT'S PERSPECTIVE

Remembering August 26, 2026, Women’s Equality Day, honoring women’s suffrage milestone. Nationally we observe this day to mark the ratification of the nineteenth amendment, which granted American women the constitutional right to vote in 1920.  Women can be educated, can be vocal, and are free to be grateful for this privilege.

AMENITIES 7 PROTOCOL - CAROL LOPEZ-LUCEY

PROTOCOL IN ACTION

Is your club having an anniversary or club birthday?

Are you sending a personal invitation?

Your answer should be: Yes, we are sending a personal invitation to all club members plus our neighboring districts and our Council members plus our sponsors and special guests

Protocol is sending that personal letter. That special meaning is for all.

They will know it is important, special and feel they are wanted!!

MEMBERSHIP - AREA D VP - ALISON ECCLESTON

Membership Branding is about clarifying your message, strengthening your story, and inviting others to belong. Branding shows the world who you are, what you value, and what you are doing. When your mission, logo, tagline, story, and website work together, they help people see the heart of your club and invite them to become part of it.

Part one, the potential member’s question.

Every potential member is silently asking: What is in it for me? When someone asks why they should be interested in your club, it can be difficult to answer clearly. Your goal is to shape a response that communicates value with confidence, warmth, and purpose. In one or two sentences, how would you explain why someone should be interested in your club?

HEALTH & WELLNESS - NANCY KRUEGER, Chair

W.O.W. Women Out Walking, Step Into Health Together, under the CFWC Health & Wellness Unity Project’s step challenge is well underway.

All CFWC members can report their monthly total steps at the end of each month. Movement comes in many different forms and looks different for everyone. Holistically speaking, movement includes your body activity physically, socially, artistically, and mechanically with spiritually and mentally as well. I wonder what your district and clubs health & wellness chairmen’s project will be? Social media is all the rave for CFWC for getting information out there.

You are all invited to participate on a Zoom meeting with two of your chairmen. The Health & Wellness chair, Nancy Krueger and the Environment chair, Gina Morales will both host a Zoom on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 7 pm - 8 pm. The Zoom title is, CFWC Environment & Health and Wellness Zoom. Zoom ID is: 827-7980-0677, Passcode is: 693292. Find the meeting flyer at CFWC.org, tab Programs, under Health & Wellness.
