BARBARA CHAVEZ

It is with great sadness that we report Barbara Chavez, our friend and former CFWC financial officer. passed away August 12 from complications with cancer.

Barbara belonged to the Danville Women’s Club, served as President GFWC Mt. Diablo District 2012-2014, and served on the CFWC financial committee from 2014 – 2020.

Barbara later moved to Damascus Oregon and worked through the GFWC Oregon Federation and served as Oregon State President 2024 – 2026. And was currently serving as President of the North Clackamas Women’s Club and scheduled to be on the GFWC Fundraising Committee this term.

Remembering her Smile, laughter, work ethic, and dedication to women’s club, thank you Barbara for enhancing our lives.
