FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT,

Good news, Members and Friends:
The September Fall Boards are scheduled to be at the Hilton Orange County in Costa Mesa, CA., 3050 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. The dates are September 15,16 and 17, 2022. There is a free airport shuttle from John Wayne Orange County airport to the hotel and back to airport.

This will be our Membership Board meeting. More information to follow next week.

Please keep track of your many working hours for Federation and I just jot mine down daily, so it is easy when we are report writing to keep track of our time.

Another tip: When you are in charge of a meeting, please have an agenda for you, and a copy for every person attending.  It keeps you on track and helps the members or participants to know when and what is happening, when is their turn to speak, and what will be voted on. That is the number one complaint I receive about our meetings.

See you soon at July Boards in San Ramon, Marriott. Carol Lopez-Lucey as our Meeting Planner has done a great job of getting the hotel and staff ready for an informational meeting for us, and we are excited to see you all.

District Presidents and CFWC Chairmen that will be in attendance, we are looking forward to hearing all about your plans for this Administration!

We do have special entertainment for you Sat. night, Thanks to Cindy Sanders. Wear Hawaiian attire if you like.

Love and Aloha, Barbara
ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN - Kelly Davis, Chairman

Summer Boards are a week closer and we will have the great pleasure on Friday evening of listening to a terrific speaker from CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).

Jody Hudson, Philanthropy Director for CASA is very excited to be attending our Friday night meeting on July 29. Jody will be presenting the experience of CASA. See you then.
ITINERARY NEWS AND UP DATES - Linda Daniels-Lima, Itinerary Chair

Wow! CFWC is on the Move! Club and District Presidents are requesting CFWC Officers and Chairmen to travel across the state as quest speakers, present workshops and spread the wealth of their knowledge, experience and passion for their Chairmanships and Offices

You can get your up dated Itinerary Request Forms, hot off the press at the CFWC Website or notify me and I will e-mail or snail mail you anything you may need to get a guest speaker for your Club or District.

You can also go to your CFWC Standing Rules, (this is not up dated as of yet) but will give you an idea of the information of the requirements and procedures to acquire a guest speaker.

This is a great program, user friendly and a way to bring CFWC’s valued and gifted federated women to your membership. I will have forms with me in San Ramon with lots of hugs to go around.
