The convention presents an opportunity for professional engagement, networking, and continued collaboration. Members are encouraged to begin making arrangements to attend.

CFWC EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING -

WORKSHOP INFORMATION - SONJA HULTS

As a member of CFWC we are often asked to do a workshop. How many times have you attended a workshop and realized it has just wasted an hour of your day? Painful right, especially when it was your workshop YIKES? As the future leaders and representatives of CFWC we can use techniques taught to teachers to make the workshop more engaging. It's not a secret, here is a method. Research. Plan. Present. The 3 are all part of the BIG idea. There are two workshops. One on Friday and One on Saturday. Friday we will learn. Saturday we will share and grow together.

NOTE: IMPORTANT: Bring either a computer, Iphone and or Ipad to use as the tools we need to keep your members engaged. We will need people to use their Hotspots. Let's learn, grow and have fun together.

CFWC EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING - SILENT AUCTION

The February Winter Executive Board will feature a Silent Auction at the final meeting of this administration. If you'd like to donate an item valued at $10 or more, contact Toby Kahan, CFWC Meeting Planner, and bring your item to the Registration Table when you arrive. Thank you,

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT and OUTREACH - ANNE COCHRAN, Chair

As we head into the end of February we can look forward to starting out fresh for March by spring cleaning your closets for our veterans who are in medical facilities or placement homes. There are drop bins off at every American Legion near you or the VFW. Greet our veterans with enthusiasm and let’s not look sad for them. Encouragement and a genuine smile will get them through the day. We honor our veterans and active service members every chance we get.
