Yikes! Spammed, hacked, spoofed…sadly there is work that should be done to be safe on social media.
This is to notify you that a recent email request you may have received with my name on it asking, “can you make a payment to PayPal, and get reimbursed later”, or asking for money in any way. It is not legitimate.
It’s not me…and it’s not Madam GFWC Intl. President either; we’ve been spoofed. And probably many of you as well through the CFWC and GFWC convention season high jinks; emails, photos, Facebook, Instagram social sites have been buzzing with your fun personal messages and information.
Just a reminder to keep your guard up, if the message doesn’t set right with you, delete it. Attached are some remedies and techniques to help with safeguarding your personal information; reminders never hurt and check your Facebook page security is it public or private. Tips & Tricks
