The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) is pleased to announce the release of the first provincial edition of the Sustainable Best Management Practices for Golf Courses – British Columbia - a comprehensive, modernized resource designed to support golf facilities in strengthening environmental performance, operational efficiency, and long‑term sustainability.
Developed over the past year in collaboration with GEO Sustainable Golf Foundation and the CGSA Environment Committee, this new manual represents a significant milestone in responsible golf course management in Canada. It provides practical, science‑based guidance tailored to provincial conditions, regulatory expectations, and sustainability priorities. The manual is created as a sustainable venture and is available electronically. This allows it to be easily adaptable and updated should new regulations or information become available.
Additional provincial editions are in development and will be released in the months ahead.
