Weekly News &
Business Resource Update
|
|
This week's email includes a reminder to sign up for tomorrow's FREE webinar--"Keys to Conquering Your Goals" from Jody Holland and our SSBI Partners, 3 new members to welcome, and photos from 3 recent ribbon cutting events (2 of which were from this morning). Check out the section from our SSBI Partner CNS Pantex on the ways their Fire Department assists with emergencies in the surrounding communities and their response to the train accident near Panhandle in 2016. We have a couple more ribbons to cut this week and have a few more to celebrate in the coming weeks. If you are thinking about a ribbon cutting or ground breaking event, you can now request those through an online form. Next week will be a busy one for our staff and around 150 volunteers for our Member Mania event that will help strengthen our Chamber with more members. Please note we will be off-site starting Monday afternoon and be back in the office on Friday the 25th. If you need to reach us, call the front desk at 373-7800 and leave a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as quickly as we can. Lastly, the SBA is having a webinar on Thursday that might be useful to your business, and don't forget you can post job openings in our Job Bank or events in our Community Calendar for free. You can get information on all of this and more below.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and add new information and resources to our COVID Resource Page on our website that may be important to our members.
On behalf of our staff, Board of Directors, and the Amarillo business community, we want to thank you for your continued support of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, and we look forward to serving you now and in the future. Please let us know what we can do to help your business.

Goal Setting and Goal Management are at the heart of any business's success. Learn to set and accomplish your business goals. There are three keys to conquering your goals in business. When done in order, they are a magic formula for success!

Lead Yourself - By learning to lead your thoughts, emotions, and habits, you position yourself to succeed in anything you pursue.
-
Chunk It Down - By creating a system that manages your habits, you are prepared to tackle any complex challenge in a simple and strategic manner.
-
Stay on TARGET - The Target model for goal setting and tracking will keep your team on the same page as you pursue your goals. This keeps the most important things in front of you at all times.
