Good Morning!

As August winds down, we're putting quite a bit of effort into this final month before our 100th Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 26th! We encourage each of our members to join us for this very special evening, capping off our Centennial year. In addition to a wonderful dinner from Fountain Head Country Club, we'll be celebrating the passing of the gavel from our current Chairman of the Board Keith Grunow to Incoming Chair Gary Hayes. Guests will each receive one commemorative Centennial book, celebrating 100 years of the Chamber and its role in Washington County (produced in partnership with Herald-Mail Media). Let us tell you, this book is very special and will be around for the next 100 years. A celebration of history, for sure.

Next month, you can look forward to us opening nominations for our 21st Annual Washington County Business Awards. We're already planning with our County's best and brightest creative minds on how to make this next awards show, slated for February 2020 at the newly-renovated Maryland Theatre, the very best yet! Stay tuned!

You'll also notice our newsletter is missing a few sections. That's because starting next month, our newsletters will be getting a whole new look, with some streamlined information, and a better mobile view! As always, please contact Director of Member Services Tim Luipersbeck with news & updates you'd like us to share - at no charge!

Hope you've had a wonderful month!
We look forward to working for you this Fall!
