On February 2, 2024, Joel Herbert Fenger, 80, a well-known area pilot, farmer, car restorer, and businessman, died of complications derived of a blood infection at the Liberty County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at Our Saviorβs Lutheran Church, 10 East Madison Avenue, Chester, Montana, at 2:00 PM on Friday February 16, 2024, with a reception to follow.

BILL DAFOE FUNDRAISER SPONSORED BY CHESTER UNITED METHODISTS
Bill Dafoe, 46, of Thermopolis, WY, was diagnosed this past fall with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Bill is being treated with both palliative radiation and chemotherapy. Chester United Methodist Church is coordinating efforts to give financial assistance to Bill and his family as he struggles with both the symptoms of this cancer and the effects of its treatment.
