Liberty Village Arts Center is open March and April for Youth Art Month

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 11 am - 2 pm

First, we at Liberty Village Arts Center, want to thank all the vendors who participated in our Christmas Village. We are so blessed to have so many creative and talented artists right here in our community and surrounding area. Also, thank you to everyone who came to support these artists over the holiday season! We are grateful for every one of you!

Our next show is in support of Youth Art Month. Youth Art Month encourages support for quality school art programs, and promotes art material safety. The program provides a medium for recognizing skills developed through visual arts experiences. Art shows, special exhibits, fundraisers, and school and community activities take place annually, traditionally during March, to celebrate visual art education for grades K – 12.

Kindergarten - 6th grade will display their art works in our gallery for the month of March.

7th - 12th grade will be displayed in April.

We always look forward to what our youth offer for this show!

We're looking for pictures from local shutterbugs!

If you have pictures of our local areas you'd be willing to share and allow us to use to promote our communities, please email them to Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.

We want to showcase our area and use real photos of our actual communities taken by everyday people! Here are some types of images we're looking for:

Townscapes, street views, buildings
Local events
Pictures with local people in them (please ask them first)
Interesting angles/perspectives of different areas of our communities

BILL DAFOE FUNDRAISER SPONSORED BY CHESTER UNITED METHODISTS

Bill Dafoe, 46, of Thermopolis, WY, was diagnosed this past fall with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Bill is being treated with both palliative radiation and chemotherapy. Chester United Methodist Church is coordinating efforts to give financial assistance to Bill and his family as he struggles with both the symptoms of this cancer and the effects of its treatment.
