Updates from Supervisor Jim Desmond's Office
Launched a new website

We are working on an effort to hear from businesses, big and small to, to see if they are willing to implement safety measures, for employees and customers, so we can start to get businesses back open? It is just a simple form to put your name, business, contact information and are you willing to pledge to implement necessary safety standards.

We want to make sure businesses can communicate, to the county, that they can open with safety precautions. Also, we want businesses to be prepared when it comes time to start easing some of the restrictions.
As of April 1, 2020 and until further notice Christmas Circle will be
closed to the general public, visitors and Borrego Springs residents.
Sorry for the inconvenience, however this is for the safety of our community.

A Message from Andy Macuga
Re: CARLEE'S GROCERY DELIVERY
Dear Borregans,

I will be doing this twice a week. Orders must be emailed to me at [email protected] with the following deadlines:
  1. Before 6pm Sunday for Tuesday delivery
  2. Before 6pm Wednesday for Friday delivery.
I will order extra of many of the items. Once I have fulfilled all of the orders, I will post what I still have available along with prices.

I am willing to get whatever items I have available to me. People need to understand that my distributors do not have certain grocery store items available. Restaurants use many products in large quantity.

Also we will continue to serve our entire menu for takeout, delivery or curbside delivery. The delivery will be a $5 charge to cover gas and insurance for the drivers. The takeout and curbside delivery will be no extra charge.
