June 11 43rd LD Candidate Forum

The CHCC - along with the 43rd LD Democrats and Belltown United - are hosting a candidate forum for the 43rd Legislative District - which covers Capitol Hill, SLU, Belltown, Madison Park and more (map). If you have questions or topics you would like to suggest please send them via this form.

The event is 6:30-8pm at Seattle First Baptist Church (1111 Harvard Ave, Seattle, WA 98122). We are also looking for volunteers if you are free from 5-9pm to help with logistics please email chcc.officers@gmail.com or speak up on Discord (join Discord).

CHCC Elections Underway

If you are an eligible voting member as outlined in the bylaws, you should have receieved your ballot by now. If you didn't please reach out to chcc.officers@gmail.com. The candidates are:

Leo McCabe
Marceil Van Camp

You can view their candidate bios on the CHCC Website here. Voting ends at 5pm PDT June 11, 2026. On even years 5 of the 11 seats are up for election. The top 5 will be selected by Rank Choice Voting.
