Saturday, September 26 is Show Up, Seattle! Day of Service with the Department of Neighborhoods. Mark your calendars for this annual day of action when Seattle neighbors come together to roll up their sleeves and give back — with volunteer opportunities in neighborhoods across the city.

Low Pollution Neighborhood Event

The Seattle Department of Transportation will host an in-person public workshop on Sunday, September 27, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cathy Hillenbrand Community Room, located above Capitol Hill Station on 10th Ave E. Transportation Committee Update

CHCC has been asked to endorse the Seattle Transit Measure. This renewal will be on your November ballot and asks to increase the sales tax rate to fund more frequent bus service. This measure also funds the First Hill streetcar, bus improvements like on Denny Way, and gives free Orca cards to those with the least.
