Seattle Dog Parks Data Website

Noticing a lack of places to sniff, ruff, howl, or play, a particularly clever neighbor has created “a website focused on sharing factual and verifiable data about the challenges we have here in Seattle around off leash dog parks (aka OLAs).

It uses a bunch of public data collected over the years: SPR budget records, city acreage figures, public record requests, census data, etc.”

Check out the compilation of fun facts about Seattle’s dog park s, and a case for why we need more places for our furry friends to pal around.

CHCC Updates - Destination Pike and Meeting Space

Destination Pike - Check out what Transportation Committee is doing on the committee page and the Destination Pike website.

Meeting Space - At the last CHCC meeting it was mentioned about the challenges the CHCC has in finding meeting space for various events. If you would like to help the CHCC find meeting space please contact us at chcc.officers@gmail.com

Seattle Central College has been great at helping the CHCC with meeting space. For different types of events it would be great to have a handy list of places.
