August Chamber Happy Hour

Mix and mingle with fellow members at the Chamber Happy Hour on August 22, hosted by  Redhook Brewlab! This fun event is free to attend and will be an excellent opportunity to meet chamber members, learn more about the work of the Chamber, and support our unique urban business district.

The  Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce's 9th annual Hilloween event is a one-day community celebration on Broadway that welcomes thousands of kids and families.   The indoor kid's carnival returns this year wiith a fun Circus theme featuring live performances, carnival games and activities.  The carnival will conclude with our traditional costume parade led by a marching band and trick-or-treating on Broadway Avenue sponsored by our friends at the  Broadway Business Improvement Area. This community party is free and open to everyone thanks to our generous SPONSORS!

We are signing up businesses in Capitol Hill to participate in our free pilot program. Businesses can set up their storefront, upload inventory, and attract customers by letting them see the incredible products available right in their neighborhood. We are also offering free assistance with cataloguing and uploading inventory and with overall onboarding.

Capitol Hill-Area Natural Gas Main Replacement Project Update

Puget Sound Energy (PSE has been working in the Capitol Hill area since February 2018 to replace the existing underground natural gas main, installed in the early 1980s, with corrosion-resistant plastic main. This maintenance work ensures the continued safety and reliability of the natural gas system serving our Seattle-area customers.

Crews resumed their work along 10th Ave proceeding north to E Pike Street the week of July 23. They will be wrapping up in the intersection by the end of this week and continue to head east on E Pike Street next week.  MORE INFO

With Find It, Fix It, reporting an issue is as easy as snapping a photo with your smartphone, adding detailed information, and hitting submit. The map's "drag and drop" feature or the phone's own technology can be used to pinpoint the location.

"Find It, Fix It" is a smartphone app offering mobile users one more way to report selected issues to the City of Seattle.  It is available for  Android and  iOS.

The Capitol Hill Farmers Market is at its peak and everything is in season! Shop at the market on Sundays from 11am-3pm to enjoy all the wonderful fruits and vegetables of the season like peaches, nectarines, melons, peppers, and tomatoes. Stop by to say hi to your local farmers and enjoy some seasonal treats! 

The Neighborhood Farmers Markets popular annual fundraiser, An Incredible Feast, is happening on Sunday, September 23rd.  This event features over fifteen of Seattle's best and most innovative chefs, paired with market farmers to create an incredible feast of unique and delicious bites, showcasing fresh farm ingredients.
