reminder: adu relending program applications accepted through january 20th

This is a reminder that applications are currently being accepted for the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Relending Program through January 20, 2026, at 5:00pm MT. The ADU Relending Program provides loans to eligible nonprofits, public housing authorities, and community development financial institutions (CDFIs) offering financing to eligible borrowers for the construction or conversion of ADUs.

Based on anticipated demand, a competitive application round began on December 23, 2025, and will continue until 5:00pm MT on January 20, 2026. CHFA will underwrite and review the loan requests with final decisions anticipated in April 2026. Please see the CHFA website for additional information about the application process.

ADU Finance Programs are administered by CHFA under a contract with the Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) by and through the Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). Details regarding the ADU Credit Enhancement Program and ADU Interest Rate Buydown Program will be announced in early 2026.
