Save the Date: March 15 - Proposition 123 Local Government Commitment Workshop

Dear CHFA Stakeholders,

On behalf of our Proposition 123 implementation partners at Colorado Division of Housing (DOH), we wanted to share the following announcement from DOH regarding a stakeholder engagement workshop planned for Wednesday, March 15 from Noon to 2:00pm to review and discuss Proposition 123’s local government requirements. Please see additional details below including registration and participation information.

In addition, please save the date for future engagement sessions to solicit input for both the DOLA Affordable Housing Support Fund programs and OEDIT-CHFA Affordable Housing Financing Fund programs.

Friday, March 24: DOLA Affordable Housing Support Fund programs
Tuesday, April 4: OEDIT-CHFA Affordable Housing Financing Fund programs

Proposition 123: DOH Stakeholder Engagement Workshop – Local Government Commitments
March 15, 2023

The Division of Housing along with its implementation partners—the Division of Local Government, the Office of Economic Development & International Trade, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, and Gary Community Ventures--invite you to participate in a virtual stakeholder engagement workshop scheduled to take place from Noon to 2:00pm MT on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

You may register and participate via Zoom.

When registering, you will be asked to answer a question towards the end of the form to help inform the discussion on March 15th as we work together to unpack and implement the local government requirements laid out in Proposition 123. However, there is limited space to do so in that particular text box. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to expand on your responses in the "Questions & Comments" section at the end of the form, which will gain you additional space to submit detailed comments. You may enter N/A in either section if you do not have any feedback or if you do not need the extra space to respond.

Additional information will be provided, including DOH's methodology for calculating the baseline reference data table since that has been the most common question received after this data set was shared by DOH on February 21. For those that cannot make it on March 15, the meeting will be recorded and posted on the Colorado Division of Housing webpage.
