new state housing tax credit available to support middle-income housing developmentCHFA’s new Middle-income Housing Tax Credit (MIHTC) program is underway and supports the development of affordable rental housing serving Coloradans whose incomes range from 80 to 120 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI) and up to 140 percent AMI in rural resort counties. The 2025 MIHTC Allocation Plan is available here. CHFA is currently accepting Letters of Intent (LOIs) for MIHTC applications. Access the LOI submission system here. Concept meetings may also be requested. LOIs are due on March 17th by 5:00pm MT. Applications are due on May 19th by 5:00pm MT.
