chfa supports colorado nonprofits

CHFA recently announced a $175,000 donation to support 36 organizations addressing hunger and food insecurity across Colorado. Current economic conditions have strained food banks and pantries during their busiest time of year, and CHFA is proud to play a role in supporting organizations working to meet this fundamental need in communities throughout Colorado

Earlier this month, CHFA was pleased to announce its 2025 Round Two Direct Effect Awards, which includes a total of $1.3 million in donations to 122 nonprofits whose missions align with CHFA’s work to strengthen Colorado by investing in affordable housing and community development. To date, CHFA has donated more than $9.9 million in Direct Effect Awards to more than 630 organizations since 2021
