chfa publishes new resources: neuro-inclusive housing white paper and colorado statewide apartment survey
To explore the housing needs and related resources in Colorado for residents with an Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability (I/DD), CHFA commissioned the Neuro-inclusive Housing White Paper, published in June 2022. This resource provides the results of research related to housing for people with I/DD. Click here to access the white paper.

In addition, CHFA is proud to offer the results of the newest Colorado Statewide Apartment Survey. This quarterly report summarizes the quarterly rents and vacancies of market-rate multifamily rental properties in various Colorado markets. Click here to learn more and access the report.
chfa awarded $9 million in capital magnet funds to support affordable housing
CHFA has been awarded a $9 million Capital Magnet Fund (CMF) grant to support the development and preservation of affordable rental housing across Colorado. CHFA was selected to receive an award among 59 total recipients nationwide. This is the largest and fifth consecutive CMF award that CHFA has received, bringing the total award amount to more than $33.6 million since 2018. CHFA will use the award to fill gaps in funding needed to construct or preserve affordable rental housing.

CHFA is accepting applications for participation in its Small-scale Housing Technical Assistance program. CHFA is hosting a free, informational webinar on August 17th. Pre-applications are due by August 24th.
2022 statewide outreach and engagement forums
CHFA, Housing Colorado, and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs Division of Housing (DOH) are pleased to host the 2022 Statewide Outreach and Engagement Forum series this summer. Participants will hear from each organization on policies, programs, and recent housing-related legislation. Additionally, through facilitated discussions, participants will provide perspective and opinions on how existing programs are working, where additional support could be most useful and effective, and the resource, research, and technical assistance needs of their communities.

Events have been held in Colorado’s mountain resort and Denver metro regions, and the remaining four events will occur in Grand Junction (July 19th), Greeley (July 26th), Durango (August 2nd), and Colorado Springs (August 9th).
