| | chfa announces round two housing tax credit awards | On November 5th, CHFA announced that nine developments were awarded a reservation of federal and state Housing Tax Credits to support the new construction of 840 affordable rental units. This includes awards of Transit-oriented Communities (TOC) credit to five developments. These developments will seek to address various housing needs in Colorado, supporting individuals, families, and persons experiencing homelessness. Developments awarded during this round will be located in Aurora, Denver, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Sterling. | | | | | reminder: homeownership event to be held december 3rd in denver | On Wednesday, December 3rd, at 5:30pm, CHFA will host a free homeownership event at Spangalang Brewery in Denver. The event is the final installment in the 2025 Building Legacy: A Black Homeownership Series, but is open to all attendees, including those who have not taken part in prior sessions. Building Legacy Part IV will focus on creating and maintaining wealth through homeownership. Advance registration is encouraged, and additional details are available via the link below. | | private activity bond (pab) stakeholder meeting | CHFA will host a Private Activity Bond (PAB) stakeholder meeting on Thursday, December 4th, from 11:00am to Noon. All stakeholders with interest in PAB and the development of Colorado multifamily projects supported with federal 4 percent Housing Tax Credits are encouraged to join this meeting. CHFA will share information on PAB use from prior years and the anticipated budget for 2026. | | | | | chfa to sponsor and attend colorado counties, inc. winter conference | The Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI) Foundation Winter Conference will be held December 1st through 3rd in Westminster, and CHFA is proud to sponsor and take part.
