NORTHEAST COMMUNITY FUND THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKET DISTRIBUTION |
The Northeast Community Fund is searching for volunteers to prepare 4,000 Thanksgiving food baskets.
|
|
|
|
If you would like to assist with creating the card design, please contact Isaac Zuniga at 217-433-1257.
Completed cards must be returned by November 17th and will be displayed downtown at Preston Jackson Park from November 21st to December 30th. The community will be invited to vote for their favorite card design and prize money will be awarded to the top three designs.

SIMP, Inc. and The Good Samaritan Inn are partnering again this Thanksgiving to promote unity in the community with our law enforcement and community leaders.

DOVE is looking for bilingual volunteers to assist families to pick up their toys at their annual Christmas Care and Share event on December 16th at 8:30 am.

THE SALVATION ARMY CHRISTMAS TOYS & FOOD APPLICATIONS |
There is only ONE day left for families in need to sign up for the Salvation Army's Christmas Toys & Food program.
Applications will be taken on Thursday, November 10th from 3 to 7 pm.

United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinois and The Community Foundation of Macon County have partnered to establish the Macon County Imagination Library, which encourages literacy by mailing free books to children from birth to age 5.

THE SALVATION ARMY OF DECATUR EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM |
If you are at risk of eviction or homelessness and need help paying rent, contact the Salvation Army of Decatur for more information on how you can apply for rent assistance.
Applications are due on December 31st.
