First and foremost, a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our dance families for your continued support of, and cooperation with, the new guidelines and procedures we have in place! Our dancers - your children - bring such joy into the classroom each week, that we can't help but smile...even if you can't see it! As with everything, this is a "new normal" for us at the studio, and the positivity and dedication shown by our students is admirable. They are simply thrilled to be back, and all of their teachers feel the same.

COVID REMINDERS + UPDATES

We are continuously improving the measures we have in place, and ask that you please remember:

  • *Please do not forget your dancer's mask at home. Keep a spare one in the dance bag. Thank you!
  • Parents MUST wear a mask when at the studio - including in the parking lot. Help us keep our faculty and staff safe!
  • Late arrivals and early dismissals are not permitted. Our drop off and pick up procedures are organized to be as efficient as possible.
  • Do not send your child to dance if anyone in your household has stayed out of school or work due to feeling under the weather - even if their symptoms aren't blatantly COVID-related.
  • Masks with exhalation valves or vents may not be worn - they are not recommended by the CDC and are prohibited from our facilities.
  • We have added a question to our daily health questionnaire: "Does anyone you or your family come into contact with live or work at Merrimack College?" - We will continue to update these questions based on local news and happenings as needed.
SHOE FITTINGS

We have implemented a new, efficient system for meeting all of your dancers' shoe needs. If/when your dancer has outgrown their shoes, please email [email protected] with which type(s) and estimated size needed. A member of our team will coordinate an in-class fitting with the teacher, so there's no need to come before or after class. While sizes are not guaranteed to be in stock, we will gladly place orders as needed to ensure your dancer has the perfect fit!

We realize you have a choice when it comes to purchasing new gear, and we thank you in advance for supporting our small business!
COSTUME PAYMENTS

As outlined in the 2020/2021 Dancer Handbook (available on our website under "Forms + Links"), non-refundable costume payments of $65 per style for our Recreational Program dancers will be automatically charged to your credit card on file between October 15-31.

While recital is still months away and plans cannot be finalized yet, we recognize that our annual production may need to look a bit different this year. Our team is already working through fun ideas and creative solutions for making Recital Season as special as ever for our dancers and families. We can't wait to share!

HALLOWEEN WEEK

Halloween isn't quite the same this year, but we can still celebrate at dance! During the week of October 26-31:

  • Preschool - 1st Grade is invited to wear a Halloween costume to class!*
  • 2nd - 12th Grade is welcome to wear Halloween colors & accessories to class!

We'll be grooving to spooky songs and doing our best Monster Mash all week!

*Typical COVID face mask still required, please leave costume masks & props at home.
VIRTUAL VISITORS' DAYS

We know you're eager to see what your children have been working on in dance class, and we're so proud of their progress already! While due to COVID restrictions we aren't able to host our typical Visitors' Day at the beginning of November, you will be receiving a special sneak peek into your dancer's classes via videos and a message from their teacher(s), along with all important updates and notes from the studio! Emails will be sent by the end of November!
