Meet Colleen Hannon

Board Member
Colleen is a graduate of the University of Colorado, with a master’s degree in urban and regional planning. Colleen’s career has been an exciting blend of local government and private consulting, serving towns and counties as well as non-profits. She currently works for Granby Ranch as the Design Review Board Administrator. She also continues to consult in community development, most specifically in code revision work for local governments.
Colleen met her husband, Jon Morrissey, in Montrose and the two have enjoyed the western part of the state, living in Crested Butte, Gunnison, and Leadville. Colleen and Jon, along with their three cats and two retrievers, moved to Grand County in 2016. Colleen appreciates the outdoors as a skier, snowshoer, fly fisherman, hiker, dog walker and wildlife watcher. Her passions include historic preservation, public radio, and land stewardship.

Colorado Gives Day is a statewide movement to increase online giving. This year, Community First Foundation and FirstBank are presenting Colorado Gives Day on December 5, 2017 . Donations are accepted at , which features more than 2,000 nonprofits. Colorado Gives Day is one of the most successful events of its kind in the nation. Since its inception in 2010, the event has raised more than $145 million for Colorado nonprofits.
