You are welcome here.

Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is a congregation that values a diversity of belief. Whether you're full of faith or full of doubt, you'll find people who have been there and accept you where you are.

We welcome all people to worship, pray, eat, seek spiritual answers, and enjoy life within this community of faith.

All are welcome!

A Big Weekend Here At CHPC!!!

Our Fall Festival is almost here! Please be sure to join us this Saturday, October 10 from 11:00 am-2:00 pm for a fun time outside! We will have inflatables, crafts, a bake sale, balloon animals, and of course pumpkins! This is fun for the whole family, so invite your friends and neighbors!

And the fun doesn't stop for just the kids! We need as much help as we can get to ensure that this event is a success, so don't think that Saturday is just for children. Please volunteer to serve if you have not already done so, and a big thank you to those who already have! Sign up sheets are in the Narthex or you can talk to Tyler or anyone on the CFL committee about how you can help!

If you plan on bringing baked goods for the Bake Sale, please pre-package items and bring them to the Pavilion by 10:00 am on Saturday. Also, if are are volunteering during this event, please park behind the Tri-Star Counseling building and walk over to the church. And be sure to spread the word by inviting others to join us for all the fun there is to be had in CHPC's Pumpkin Patch!

And then the next day on Sunday afternoon, CHPC partners with Marsh Regional Blood Center for a Blood Drive on October 11th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The appointment sign-up sheet is full, but they will still accept walk-ins that day. Please note: if you have provided a blood donation after August 17, you cannot participate in this event. Please contact Mike Strickler with any questions.

Our “Sleep in Heavenly Peace” bed build is coming up and we need volunteers! We will be hosting the build here at CHPC on October 17 starting at 8 am and ending sometime around 1 pm (projected end time) with a goal to build 40 beds. Groups from ETSU and Colonial Heights Methodist church have also been invited, so it will be a great time to get to know some new folks. In addition to the build crew, we are also asking for a group of volunteers to choose suitable wood (time to be determined in the few days leading up to the build). Sign ups are in the Narthex or you can contact Allen Booth for more information.

All Things Pumpkin Patch:

Our Pumpkin Patch is open from 11-7 pm every day for the next five weeks, until the end of October...or until we sell them all!

Thank you for continuing to sign up to spend time in the Pumpkin Patch! If you haven't picked out a time to volunteer yet, be sure to stop by the Sign up sheets that are located in the Narthex.

Fall Event Line-Up

As we enter this fun and busy season, let's continue to pull together as a church family to make it all happen. Please keep signing up and showing up. Like all of the work to which Christ calls us, we are not meant to do it alone and at CHPC, we simply cannot do this without you. Thank you for your constant labors of love for our church and community! More details for these awesome events are listed below.

Trunk or Treat is on Saturday, October 24 from 5-6 pm. This is always a huge event where we welcome hundreds of little ones to our church, so please plan on bringing candy, making it out, and decorating a trunk. We will also be collecting candy for this event ahead of time, from now until then. There is a collection basket in the office reception area for candy donations, thank you so much for bringing treats for the children of our community!
