Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is a congregation that

values a diversity of belief. Whether you're full of faith or full of doubt,

you'll find people who have been there and accept you for where you are.

We welcome all people to worship, pray, eat, seek spiritual answers, and enjoy life within this community of faith. All are welcome!

Come To The Table

Maundy Thursday takes its name

from the Latin “mandatum” which refers to the new commandment

Jesus gave his disciples to love one another. Jesus said, “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church comes together tonight, April 2, in the Sanctuary at 7:30 pm to celebrate the sacrament of communion with Jesus and his disciples, before hearing again the powerful story of Christ's betrayal, crucifixion, burial during a Service of Tenebrae. May God's Holy Spirit strengthen us all as we journey through the darkness between the Last Supper and the closed tomb. Please note, all children will be welcome in the sanctuary and this service will not be live streamed.

This Sunday Morning in Worship:

April 5, 2026 + The Resurrection of the Lord

All are welcome to join us for three different events this Easter Sunday, April 5, as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! This joyful day begins with a 30 minute "Sunrise Service" at 8:15 am outside under the old oak tree which includes the sacrament of communion. The Easter egg hunt follows afterwards at 9:00 am in the courtyard. Kiddos can enjoy two rounds of egg hunting and candy, and adults can enjoy coffee and your favorite sweet treat!

The celebration moves inside at 9:30 am for our regular time of fellowship in the narthex and parlor. Our Easter Sunday worship service will be held in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am and will be livestreamed on youtube. Children are welcome in worship and have a special time together down front after the prayer of confession. All children may enjoy “Children’s Church” downstairs during the sermon and will return to the sanctuary to receive communion. Please spread the word and invite your family and friends as we give thanks for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ!

Please note that outdoor plans may change due to rainy weather, so check the church's facebook page for the most updated information.
