| | Join Us For All Of Our Special Easter Services! | |
This upcoming Holy Week presents us with many opportunities to experience the power associated with the palms, the passion, and the resurrection! Join us for our Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service in the sanctuary on March 28 at 7: 30 pm. We will enjoy time filled with scripture, communion, and prayer as we walk with Christ from the Last Supper to the Tomb. Please note that this service will not be live streamed.
Things kick off on Easter Sunday, April 20, with a "Sunrise Service" at 8:15 am centered around the communion table. This thirty minute outdoor service under the big oak tree grounds us in the glorious revelation of Christ's resurrection as we give thanks for this greatest gift of grace. The annual Easter egg hunt follows at 9:15 am and absolutely everyone is invited! Children can enjoy two rounds of egg hunting and candy, and adults can enjoy multiple cups of coffee and even a doughnut! Help is needed to make this an egg-cellent time for all. Members of the congregation are encouraged to bring both sweet and savory items to share during this time of fellowship so we have a great balance for everyone to enjoy! Please sign up to bring your favorite Easter Snack in the Narthex or speak with a member the CFL committee if you have any questions.
Things move inside at 9:30 am for our regular time of fellowship in the narthex and parlor. Our Easter Sunday worship service will be held in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am. Spread the word and invite your family and friends as we give thanks for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ!

This Sunday in Worship: April 6, 2025
Fifth Sunday of Lent
| | Throughout the season of Lent, we have walked with Jesus towards Jerusalem and learned from the familiar parables as shared in Luke's Gospel. Last week we heard the final story from Luke 15 about the prodigal love of God that runs to meet us when we're lost and never leaves us behind either. This week we turn to a lesser known parable about two men who led very different lives, asking ourselves what could Christ be teaching us about how we should live here and now. All are welcome to join us this Sunday as we worship the Lord! | |

Sunday's Scripture:
Psalm 146, NRSV
Luke 16:19-31, NRSV
Sermon Title:
"Dead Men Tell No Tales…"

Join Us As We Finish Our Study
On The Book Of Joshua!
| | Our final congregational Lenten supper and intergenerational bible study is this Sunday evening, and it is never too late to jump in to this time of fellowship! Children will enjoy a time of music, a lesson, and some fun while the adults and youth have their own bible study from 5:30-6:30 pm. This coming Sunday's focus will be on Joshua 24 and the conclusion of the Israelites' conquest of the land. This week's supper is a pot luck, so please bring a dish to share others! | | March Madness Continues in the... | |

Dear CHPC,
As you may recall, many of our classroom items were accidentally mistaken as trash and disposed of after being bagged and washed during our recent flu closure. We are so appreciative to those who have donated replacement items, but are still in need of more. Any donations of new or like-new stuffed animals, dress up clothes, pillows, puppets, or dolls will be greatly appreciated. Our most urgent need is for dolls and dress up clothing of varying ethnicities and cultures. Please drop off any donations to the Day School Office and I can disperse to the classrooms in need.
Thankful for you,
Lisa Robinette
| | Our Blood Drive is Right Around the Corner! | | CHPC partners with Marsh Regional Blood Center to sponsor a Blood Drive in the Church Parking on Sunday, April 13 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
