WEEKLY UPDATE!

from The Wardens and Vestry

THE PARISH SUMMIT was highly attended. We are most appreciative to The Rev. Denis Brunelle for leading us in our future discernment. All felt it was an important gathering for our church.

An overall 'take-away" was the emphasis of community and participation as a priority for moving forward, while respecting and remaining connected to our roots in the historic, beautiful church.

We will be compiling this report also as a way to forward our questions for our next rector. Stay tuned! We will keep you posted.

MORE GOINGS-ON

• The children will be planting the Community Garden for food-insecure people in May (will send an email with specifics, hope yours can join)!

• We are fixing up the Rectory apartments to be rented out while we await a long-term plan for ministry. This addresses the very serious issue of lack of housing in our community.

• Prayer services will begin again here May 22nd with our parishioners leading us in Morning Prayer -- what an exciting way for the people of our parish to be involved! 

"Neither snow, nor rain, nor children, nor art, nor work, nor taxes will keep us from our appointed rounds, live & on ZOOM!"
