AUGUST 2020 NEWS and UPDATES
WE'RE STILL HERE!
Despite COVID getting in our way, we have remained open for business.
We have successfully assisted Domestic Violence "victims" transition to "survivor" and continue to provide in-person and remote interpreting and captioning services. Our audiology clinic is starting to see an increase in patients and our DeafBlind Program staff are back in the field.
THANK YOU for helping us get through the past few months!
On behalf of the people we serve, our staff thanks you for your support!
Hear The Cheers - Children's Hearing Aid Program
To date, we have served 82 children through our Hear The Cheers (HTC) program. HTC provides hearing aids and related technology to children who have no other means of obtaining this equipment. As we start to see schools open remotely, for many, hearing aids allow children to participate in their classroom learning. CHS currently has a waiting list of children seeking support. Fully donation based, it's not too late to support children in need. To learn more about HTC, visit our site and to donate, please follow our link. On behalf of the families we serve, thank you!
