CHS Architectural, Drafting and Design pathway earns industry certification

Carrollton High School’s Architectural, Drafting, and Design program earned industry certification from a combined partnership with Construction Ready, a Georgia nonprofit focused on educating young people about careers in the skilled trades, and the Georgia Department of Education.

CCS Education Foundation helps send students to Jekyll

Carrollton Middle School students traveled to Jekyll Island this week thanks to the support of the Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation. Students are learning about Georgia's barrier island ecosystems and immersing themselves in programs that cover a range of topics like beach ecology, herpetology, salt marsh ecology, and more!

CMS eighth graders explore different career paths at expo

Today, eighth graders were able to attend a career expo at West Georgia Technical College to learn about different career options. Students spent the morning exploring 20 different pathways and fields within each like graphic design, film/video, human resources, law and public safety, healthcare, and more.

Carrollton Elementary School students are reusing cartons from their meals to plant seed peas as part of their gardening unit in STEM.The rainy weather couldn't stop the tiny Trojans from having a full and fun week!

CUES Science Club hops into action exploring grasshopper anatomy


Carrollton Upper Elementary Science Club students had a blast dissecting grasshoppers this week, gaining hands-on experience with scientific tools. In fifth grade, they dive into the world of invertebrates. This experience introduces them to more in-depth science skills as they prepare for their future education.
