Preparing for Sunday

(Lectors & Intercessor) Please read from the screen on Sunday

Find the lessons appointed for Sunday - here >

Sunday's readings affirm God’s promise of continuing relationship. In Genesis, life begins anew, sealed by God’s promise to all creatures and confirmed by the rainbow. The author of 1 Peter explains that we are saved through the cleansing water of baptism. In today’s gospel, Jesus’ forty days of temptation in the wilderness end with the proclamation of God’s good news.

Make a Prayer Request

It would be very helpful if, when the need for urgent prayers has passed, you would let us know so that our list does not become too cumbersome to manage. Thank you :) [email protected]

2019-easteram-16x9.jpg

Please consider making a donation for Easter lilies on the altar in thanksgiving or in memorial. There is a direct link on the CHS website to make an online donation for altar flowers. The suggested amount is $35. After you choose the amount and the payment method, right under the amount will be an option to add a note. That's where you click and add your thanksgiving or memorial. Please complete your donation no later than Palm Sunday, March 28 so that dedications can be included in the Easter bulletin. Thank you. https://www.churchholyspirit.org/news/altar-flowers
