The Fifth Sunday of Easter - May 3, 2026
8 am Rite I Holy Eucharist
10 am Rite II Holy Eucharist

Preacher and Celebrant: the Rev. Kimberly Reinholz, Rector

ECS Sunday is a day when our diocese comes together in service, reconciliation, and justice—and you can help make a difference. Your generosity helps ECS-NJ provide critical funding opportunities for organizations addressing food insecurity, housing support, racial justice, and community outreach.

ECS-NJ invites congregations from across the Diocese to come together on Sunday, May 3, to celebrate ECS-NJ Sunday, a day dedicated to our shared mission of Gospel Justice. This annual observance is a powerful opportunity to champion equity and peace while shining a necessary light on food insecurity in the spirit of this year’s theme.

Bagels & Books - May 17

Our selection, "Horse," by Geraldine Brooks, is in the CHS office for you to pick up. It appears that Sunday, May 17, is the best option for most people to meet after the 10am service for our book discussion. I will bring bagels and cookies that day. PLEASE bring your books with you, so that I can return them to the library.

Make a Prayer Request

The link below sends an email to a group of people who are committed to prayer and will add your request to their prayers. The prayer list is open to all. It is a public list accessible to all members of the prayer team. All requests for prayer are welcome. If you or someone you love is a member of the congregation of the Church of the Holy Spirit and is in need of pastoral care - a hospital visit, communion, or some other spiritual need, please be sure to contact the clergy to arrange for this care.  The Rev. Kim Reinholz, our rector, can be reached directly via phone or text at 908-437-8209. She is on the prayer team, but please arrange visits directly rather than via this email.

Make a prayer request to the Prayer Chain by emailing: prayerrequests@churchholyspirit.net
