Worship with us in person or online
November 9, 2025
Sunday worship services are at 8:00 am and 10:00 am
CHS Sunday Children's Formation meets at 10:00 am in the St. Nicholas Room off the narthex. Adult volunteers are needed. The diocesan rules state that there must be 2 persons 21 or older, at all times, for the conduct of youth ministries. When there is not a second adult present, the Children’s Formation meeting must be cancelled. Please volunteer to help our children grow in faith and spirit with Jesus
All ages are welcome.
Preacher and Celebrant: the Rev. Kimberly Reinholz, Rector

Dear Friends,
The worship committee and rector are seeking your input. If you can, please share the plans for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us; we would greatly appreciate it. Fill in the survey here, Christmas Survey for yourself (and anyone else in your household who isn't directly contacted from the church), and share with anyone you know who usually joins CHS for Christmas as well.
Knowing how many people plan to attend will help us in planning our services for the Birth of Jesus.
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to an exciting and hope-filled Advent/Christmas Season.
In peace,
Mother Kim

The Call to Listen and Learn Series for All Ages!
Saturday, November 8 at 4pm - 4:30 PM
This week’s focus is “Believing.” The story-book: Hiding Places, by Kathleen Trock.
When: Saturday, November 8th, 4-4:30PM.
Read by: Dale D. Moderated by: Eleanor T. Faith
Questions:
- Who do you talk to when you’re afraid?
- What makes you feel safe?
- In the book, a “hiding place” is not always a place. What are some other ways to hide, to find safety or refuge, without hiding physically?
- Who are the people you can trust to encourage you?

Food Pantry Urgent Needs
Dear friends, as many of you are aware, food banks across the country are experiencing severe shortages for their clients. With the holiday season approaching, many families will find it difficult to put food on their tables. Because so many of us are blessed to plan holiday meals without concern for the cost, we hope you will please consider donating some of the following items: canned vegetables (yams, beans, corn), cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, pumpkin, flour and sugar. Also, several markets will allow you to donate a turkey or ham directly to the food pantry. Your continued generosity is truly a blessing. ShopRite gift cards can provide the perishable items (dairy, produce, meat) and those donations can be via the Red Wagon or online.
With blessings to you all,
Suzanne and Katie Higgins

Mark your Calendars!
St. Nick is coming to Church of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, December 7th, and we’re celebrating with a Gingerbread-themed morning of holiday cheer!
We’ll gather for one worship service at 9:00 AM, followed by a festive “Breakfast with St. Nick” in Dove Hall beginning around 10:30 AM and wrapping up by noon.
This will be a potluck-style breakfast, so feel free to bring a favorite dish to share.
We will have holiday crafts, games, and family photos with St. Nick, courtesy of Dabour Photography. Feel free to invite friends and family to join in the festivities! It’s a joyful morning you won’t want to miss, we hope to see you there!
